Zum ersten Mal arbeitete sie am Album mit dem legend\u00e4ren Produzenten Stephen Hague zusammen (New Order, Peter Gabriel, Siouxsie and The Banshees, Pet Shop Boys&#8230;).<\/p>\n<p>Die Partnerschaft zwischen den beiden begann mit Claudias Aufnahme eines besonders wehm\u00fctigen Songs von Electric Light Orchestra namens &#8222;One Summer Dream&#8220;, einer B-Seite des bekannteren St\u00fccks &#8222;Mr Blue Sky&#8220;. Daraus entstanden Ideen f\u00fcr unfairerweise \u00fcbersehene Songs der 60er bis 90er Jahre von Stephen Duffys Lilac Time, Stina Nordenstam oder Dubstar und weniger bekannten Songs von K\u00fcnstlern wie David Bowie, The Bee Gees oder Robbie Robertson. Die Songs existieren jenseits aller zeitlichen Einordnungen durch ihre universellen Geschichten von Verlust und Einsamkeit, von Unsicherheit, Angst und Verzweiflung, die in kreative Energie umgewandelt werden und eine Zeitlosigkeit bekommen, die durch die wunderbare Produktion zu etwas komplett Neuem zusammenw\u00e4chst.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Das Tracklisting:<\/strong><br \/>\n01. Not an everyday group, or a traditional double act, or even a singer singing songs as though they were the sole controller of events, as if such songs just pop out of nowhere,  but a reflection of how it has been all along &#8211; that great albums are often a relationship between the record producer and the singer. Between the structuring, organising and integration of the sound, and the voice, singing songs, written by the singer, or by others, chosen by the singer and the producer, in their own state of harmony, that take you inside the mind, and outside yourself, into a different world where music is the map that helps you find your way&#8220; (Auszug aus einem l\u00e4ngeren Text zum Album, der auf Anfrage gerne bereit gestellt wird).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00dcber Claudia Br\u00fccken:<\/strong><br \/>\nClaudia Br\u00fccken war eine der beiden Frauen in dem gemischten Doppel der D\u00fcsseldorfer Avantgardepopband Propaganda, die vom <em>NME<\/em> einmal treffenderweise als &#8222;Abba from Hell&#8220; bezeichnet wurde.
